This magnificent mainly ‘open plan’ property offer very spacious accommodation, utilising the former chapel at the front and the vestry to the rear part, but unlike a number of other conversions, it retains many original features, such as the galley and feature ceilings.

The Chapel has 6 bedrooms all available for single or double use. Four king sized bedrooms all with ensuite facilities, one of these rooms has a sofa bed, so could sleep 3 – 4 sharing. There is also one twin bedded room and I double room, these two rooms share the same bathroom.

Location

Tywyn is right in the middle of Wales situated on the coast between the mountains and the sea. Famous for its stunning sunsets and natural beauty spots. Tywyn has a railway station with links for all over the UK, the venue is a 5 min walk from the station.

We can organise a local cab company to pick up guests from the station. We can organise a local cab company for day trips with a mini bus holds upto 12 people.

Also available we have another property Sunsetbay Beach House 5 mins away from the Chapel on the seafront, this is ideal as an overflow venue or for sole use of hosts and visiting teachers.

Yoga Spaces

The main hall in The Chapel is the perfect space for Yoga sessions, situated in the heart of The Chapel it’s a large, beautiful, spiritual room with a wooden floor, stained glass windows and a high ceiling letting in plenty of natural light during the daytime! It’s also the perfect ambiance for candlelit yoga in the evenings!

There is a log burner and extra heating supplied in the winter.

The main hall having once been the meetings place for the congregation holds a very special atmosphere which is notable as soon as you walk in, it can comfortably hold 12 guests plus a teacher.

We supply:
Mats, bolsters, blocks, eye pillows, blankets and straps at a small extra cost.

Warmer Days
The zen garden at back of The Chapel is also perfect for outdoor yoga on sunny days, suitable for approximately eight participants.

If you love the outdoors, we have discovered many amazing spaces to practice in nature, you can head down to the beach about a seven minute walk from the Chapel and give your guests the amazing experience of practicing yoga and meditation to the sounds of the sea!

We can recommend the best places along the sea front and the nearby walled garden with a fairy forest and dedicated meditation areas.

The Chapel Spaces

Main Room
Yoga takes place in heart of The Chapel in the main room which comfortably holds 12 people. This is a huge room, formally where The Chapel congregation would have sat, it has a beautiful high ceiling and wooden floor with a log burner.

Snug
Just off the kitchen is the snug a very comfortable sitting room to take some quiet time, read, relax, paint or chat, we also use the snug for our massage therapist and treatments. IT ALSO HAS A SOFA BED

Kitchen
A large kitchen with all utensils and lots of work space, in the kitchen sits a long wooden table and church style chairs, that seats up 16 people for meals.

Utility Room
In addition to the Kitchen there is a large utility room with an extra washing machine, lots of work space to prepare additional food etc we use this area to make fresh juices.

Garden
There is a large garden with lots of areas to sit and relax plus a Hot tub and Fire Pit. A beautiful astroturf garden ideal for yoga, meditation or relaxing.

Walking Guide
Knowledgeable, experience local guide with many walks to offer. Choose a day or half day with local walking guide to explore the area, waterfalls, lakes, hills, coastal etc, various walks and duration available.

Paddleboarding
1 hour or 2 hour paddleboarding in the Dovey Estuary includes wetsuits and paddleboards with qualified instructors.
