Set in 22 acres of stunning secluded gardens, Tresillian Estate is an 8 bedroom Georgian Manor house, 6 bedroom barn and self contained cottage located near some of North Cornwall’s best beaches and only 2 miles away from the coastline.

The three beautiful properties and work spaces can be rented either separately or together. The estate history is magical. The house is elegant yet comfortable and is beautifully furnished in a relaxed country style.

The venue can accommodate 30 people and has a lake, gym, tennis courts and a Victorian walled garden growing fruit and vegetables for the house.

The Ground Floor

Downstairs, the kitchen/breakfast room with stone slate floor has a kitchen table with seating for 10. This traditional kitchen has underfloor heating and all the modern facilities you would expect, including an integrated dish washer, fridge, large island and a dual fuel range cooker.

Off the kitchen is a larder with a walk-in fridge, a freezer, and a utility room with a washing machine and tumble dryer. There is also an elegantly decorated dining room which seats 20 people. The drawing room is a perfect setting for evening drinks, or afternoon tea with stunning garden and lake views.

​Furniture throughout the house is mostly antique and floors for the most part sanded wood with rugs scattered throughout. The Hall is full height with a fine oak staircase. There are also two downstairs cloak rooms.

The six bedrooms including four doubles, one twin and one bunk room are all ensuite/ A further twin and bunk room share the family bathroom.

Bathrooms

All the bathrooms at Tresillian have great character and stunning views over the gardens and lake. All ensuite bathrooms have both bath and shower facilities and heated towel rails/and or radiators and there are beautiful REN products for you to enjoy during your stay.

Apple store: 4 doubles, 2 twins 5 bathrooms

The Apple Store has a sunny south facing aspect and overlooks a courtyard garden with lawn.

​To the back of the building there is a small terrace, a garden laid to lawn and a children’s playground.

There are six bedrooms, five with en-suite bathrooms of which three are on the ground floor (1 super king, 1 double and a twin) and on the first floor there are two double bedrooms, one of which has a twin room attached making up a family suite.

The Apple Store has a dining table seating up to 12, and a large sitting area with two double sofas, armchairs and a TV/ DVD and satellite broadband throughout.

Laundry cottage: self contained cottage with en suite bathroom

The Laundry Cottage is simply decorated with a sitting room and shaker-style kitchenette, with a table seating 2. As a former laundry this building was where the water was heated to wash the linen and has an enormous original Tudor inglenook fireplace fitted with a wood burning stove.

There is also central heating to keep you toasty, a washer/dryer, TV and high-speed Wi-Fi​.

Location and how to get there

Tresillian House is 15 minutes by car from Newquay Airport, 20 minutes from St Austell Railway and 25 minutes from Bodmin Parkway stations.

Tresillian is 270 miles from London by road travelling on motorways and dual carriageways all the way except the last three miles. Take the M4 to Bristol, then M5 South to Exeter and A30 towards Bodmin.

Turn off the A30 at Summercourt and take A3058 north for 3 miles following signs for Newquay and Dairyland. The entrance to Tresillian is 200 yards after Dairyland on the left.
