Sambogaya Bohemian Retreat Centre | Glastonbury (sleeps 16)
Sambogaya is a superbly elegant and stunning bohemian retreat centre at the base of the historic Chalice Hill, just two minutes walk from the very centre of Glastonbury, and just 20 minutes walk from Glastonbury Tor.
Formerly Shekinah Ashram it re-opened in late 2023 following a complete renovation by the new owners Francis & Blanche.
Its main group room ‘The Temple’ now boasts underfloor heating and a stunning Phoenix stained glass window, and the room opens out onto a wonderful courtyard and zen garden. Sambogaya is situated at the base of the historic Chalice Hill, the place where many say the Holy Grail was buried.
Originally the stable buildings for the larger house next door, it boasts a beautiful cobbled courtyard and occupies a quiet corner of Glastonbury, yet just three minutes walk from the vibrant and wonderfully eccentric High Street.
Book Sambogaya for your retreat! We can sleep up to 16 guests and you'll have exclusive use of the whole house including our large fully equipped kitchen.
