Nestled in plush tropical gardens and surrounded by lovely rice fields, Naya is a beautiful boutique retreat centre. A property designed to embrace you into the beauty, bounty and bliss of Bali.

Located only a 7 minute drive from the centre of Ubud, guests have quick access to Bali’s renowned cultural hub but will feel far enough from the crowds and traffic to enjoy the magic and essence of rural Bali.

Rooms & Bathrooms

Accommodation at Naya features Indonesian architecture, modern amenities, and luxurious comfort, forming a tranquil world of your dreams.

Hosting 6 bedrooms, integrated harmoniously with the gardens, we embrace guests with a welcoming energy. Naya has 15 beds and an occupancy of up to 15 guests (can be more if queen beds are shared).

PREM

This is the upper suite of Lumbung Villa. Prem feels like a cosy, romantic and luxurious tree house with high thatched ceilings constructed by local artisans.

SHANTI

The lower suite of the Lumbung Villa is Shanti. The high ceilings and large windows bring a warm light to this cosy twin, comprising of private patio and en-suite bathroom.

SHAKTI

Shakti is Naya's latest addition for experiencing beauty and comfort in a lush setting. As you walk into Shakti, which means 'creative energy', you immediately feel the peace, magic & harmony as you are surrounded by spectacular panoramic views of the river deck, bamboo forest, Saraswati goddess and gardens below. A standalone,
glasshouse inspired room with an open air en-suite bathroom.

AMRITA

Inspired by Javanese architecture, the Gladak building is a loft-style, teak cottage. Perched up in the tropical jungle is a Balinese home away from home.

EARTH
Ground yourself and feel at home in this modern apartment. With high ceilings, a private terrace and a full kitchen, guests have everything they need. Earth is simply where you want to be!

Additional Accommodation

A private villa owned by and adjacent to Naya, which is comprised of two large twin beds, air conditioning, rainfall shower, private swimming pool, kitchen and a second joglo perfect for private yoga practice and spa treatments.

If you are wishing to host a retreat with more than 15 beds or require more single rooms, we have partnered up with a neighbouring villa creating the opportunity to provide 8 additional rooms. These villas are self-contained and include private pool, air conditioning, beautiful gardens & more.

Kitchen & Meals

Your package includes:

Vegetarian breakfast- 2 mains + 1 side
Vegetarian lunch & dinner- 1 appetiser + 2 mains + 1 side + 1 dessert

All meals are vegetarian and come with unlimited Kopi Bali (coffee), tea & filtered water.

At The Kitchen by Naya, we believe that it's important to nourish the body and mind by delighting the senses through wholesome and healthy food in a beautiful atmosphere.

Guests enjoy meals in our open air Joglo and connect at our lovely communal table, which seats up to 25. Naya can create buffets for groups of up to 40 people.

Our head in-house chef, Wayan, together with Naya's kitchen staff, offer a wonderful array of healthy Balinese and international cuisine.

Our standard retreat menus are all vegetarian, and any dietary restrictions can be catered to.

Facilities

Community lounge

Upon entering Naya, guests are welcomed into the heart of our space- the Pool Joglo. A community lounge created with a Javanese structure, constructed of reclaimed wood, and lovingly restored and converted into a covered outdoor space. The Joglo is an ideal space to run workshops, celebrations and gatherings.

Ozone pool

To cool off, step into our infinity pool. The pool is cleansed by an ozone system, which uses 90% less chlorine, giving the water a smooth, velvety texture, which is kinder and healthier for guests and less harsh on the environment.

Naya Spa

Naya spa is situated in a quiet corner of the garden, and is equipped with 3 massage beds for in-house traditional Balinese massages, manicure, pedicures and more.

Yoga Spaces

Open air shala

Our spacious, open-air 1300sq.ft. yoga shala overlooks a river and gardens. Flickering candles, a state of the art speaker system, fireflies, birds, geckos, the sound of the river below, the distant chants of a Balinese priest, and occasional echos of traditional Gamelan sounds to make the space something of a dream.

The Shala comfortably accommodates up to 40 yoga mats or 80 people for meditation or other gatherings. It is fully equipped with 40 yoga mats, blocks, cushions, bolsters and an audio system. There are also 2 bathrooms, showers and filtered drinking water for convenient use during classes or workshops.

Riverside reflection & deck

Down by the river is a deck where guests can lounge, enjoy the peaceful sounds of the birds and the beauty of
Saraswati, the goddess of music, arts and knowledge.

This is also a perfect space for gathering your group for fire or Agni hotra ceremonies.

Under the spacious yoga shala is a secluded, contemplative space for reflections, journaling and inner stillness.
