Set amongst the rolling hills of rural Wales, Garth Barns is the perfect spot to rest and reconnect with nature.

The two large barn conversions that house the Yoga Shala and all of the accommodation are heated from renewable biomass and the drinking water is from the farm’s own pure spring water source.

The venue is set within 200 acres of farmland offering beautiful walks in the hills and valleys right on the doorstep. And with a cold water pond for wild swimming, a gym and a Finnish sauna there is plenty to do when you are not on the yoga mat.

Garth Barns are set in glorious countryside near Llanidloes in mid Wales.

Bedrooms and Bathrooms

Garth Country House is a beautifully renovated Grade II listed property. Garth Country House may be let as a single property to sleep up to 16, or, together with Garth Barns (Hafod and Ty Nant Barns) to sleep up to 48 guests in a total of 18 bedrooms, including 16 en-suite rooms.

The large Front Reception Room is comfortably lit and furnished with sofas and chairs around a huge coffee table. This room may be cleared of furniture for yoga and meditation, or may be set up for a business meeting or small conference.

There are two barns, Hafod and Ty Nant. Together they comfortably sleep up to 32 guests in 12 bedrooms, 10 of which are en suite.

The luxury self catering accommodation is normally booked as one unit. Hafod has big living and dining spaces where guests from both barns can dine and socialise together.

Hafod

Hafod is a traditional stone and timber clad barn renovated to provide a high standard of accommodation with a cool modern interior and spacious living areas.

The Barns and Garth Country House, with a further 6 ensuite rooms, are at the heart of Garth Farm with 240 acres of hill, fields, woodland and dingle with a private lake, wildlife pools and spectacular views.

Excellent walking country. Good bird watching. Owls, woodpeckers, buzzards, nuthatches, woodcock and redstarts are resident and red kites, ducks and swans are regular visitors.

Ty Nant

Ty Nant is a traditional stone and oak framed 2 storey barn with a comfortable farmhouse atmosphere. The beamed kitchen has a huge oak table and locally made oak kitchen.

The french windows in the lounge open onto the terrace by the stream.
