May Bank Holiday Yoga and Hiking Retreat in the Brecon Beacons, Wales

Description

2024 Dates

6th – 10th May

We are excited to say we are back this May bank holiday for our mid-week hiking and yoga retreats in the Brecon Beacons.

Staying in a family-owned multi-property estate. Dating back to 1176, it was originally a farm serving the local monastery. Since then, it has had stunning renovations to create a beautiful retreat space.

Why not stay in one of the main barns? Or maybe, try out a quirky converted wheat silo, perfect for two people. Either way, you will enjoy lots of space and room options.

Of course, get your hiking boots ready to enjoy two days of guided hikes with qualified guides. On the third day try horse riding, more hiking, canoeing or paddleboarding down the River Wye or visit the delightful Hay on Wye for the afternoon which is within walking distance.

Want to fully relax? You could curl up in front of the open fire if it’s cold or relax in the sun if warm, or enjoy a massage from our talented team. Truly, you will feel rested and restored, ready for the year ahead!

Accommodation

Located close to the literacy town of Hay-On-Wye, the property was once part of the farm serving a Cistercian monastery founded in 1176. Steeped in history the individual barns and buildings have been lovingly restored and updated to create a stunning home from home space.

Beautiful gardens create a multitude of private oases to relax in spread across the 4 individual buildings, each with their very own unique style and character, that we inhabit during our stay.

We have a choice of 6 single rooms with double beds and an ensuite bathroom, 3 single rooms with double beds with shared bathroom with 1 other room, a twin room with its own bathroom and a twin room with a shared bathroom with one other room.

The Wheat Silo is a quirky accommodation for two people sharing a double bed and it has its own kitchen, bathroom and living space and stunning views of the Brecon Beacons.

The yoga studio is a beautiful, long barn conversion full of natural light and double doors that open up into the inner courtyard and the valleys beyond.
