Our 3 night Yoga and wellness Retreats in Spain run Sunday to Wednesday or Wednesday to Saturday and feature yoga classes twice daily, exceptionally tasty and healthy plant-based cuisine, and the opportunity to rest and relax profoundly in beautiful surroundings with lovely people.

Take a refreshing dive into yoga and holistic treatments, journal your dreams, eat heartily, make friends with like-minded guests, stroll through ancient olive groves, tan by the pool or stretch out in a hammock and enjoy panoramic views.

Kaliyoga is located in the Biosphere Reserve of Las Alpujarras, a region with strong associations for seekers of health and wellbeing, named locally as Little Tibet after a Tibetan Mahayana Buddhist monastery that was founded here in 1982.

From Kaliyoga to the Alhambra Palace in Granada takes less than an hour by car and the nearest shops and cafés can be reached on foot in 10 mins in our local village.

Yoga Classes

Taught by our experienced yoga teacher, classes are tailored to individual needs. Each day offers a different theme and by the end you will have learned a safe, accessible practice to enjoy wherever you are.

Somatic Embodied Yoga
This is a powerful yet subtle practice that increases sensory awareness whilst releasing mental and physical tension. The experience makes you feel more connected, simply by noticing how the whole body and mind respond as you move through the different postures. Somatic yoga releases you from physical stagnation and old habits that no longer serve you, bringing you back into the flow of life.

More healing than exotic fitness stretching, somatic yoga strengthens the relationship between mind and body, improving your alignment, your mental focus and helping you to live in harmony with yourself and others.

As you focus on the sensations in your body moment by moment, self-judgement is replaced with a clearer, more compassionate perspective. This is different from everyday thinking – where you might be dwelling on old troubles or glories, or fast-forward to wishful future pleasures.

The more you sink into your body and bring awareness to your breath, the more your mind surrenders and becomes focused in the timeless present.

This practice of yoga literally re-minds you to live from a state of easy presence, tuning in to what is actually happening in the here and now.

By incorporating this practice into daily life, you will learn to listen to your heart, trust your body, love your mind, and gain higher levels of energy, clarity and balance.

Plant Based Food

All meals are plant based, sourced from local farms, cooked with love, nutritionally balanced.

Kaliyoga is famous for its delicious food, with guests ‘oohing and ahing’ at every meal. Lovingly prepared using local, organic and seasonal ingredients, our aim is to delight your eyes, palate and digestion with a wide variety of nutrient rich, plant based dishes to suit all tastes.

The kitchen is 100% gluten free and there are lactose free options. We welcome vegans, celiacs and lactose intolerant.

Wednesday evening option to dine out at a local eatery, or enjoy a light meal and a quiet evening at Kaliyoga.

After breakfast & lunch there is plenty of free time for a broad range of blissful treatments from our team of experienced practitioners.

8 am : Yoga 90 min.
10 am : Breakfast
Mountain hike* or health treatments or free time**
2 pm : Lunch
Afternoon : health treatments or free time**
6.30 pm : Yoga 60 min.

* Free Time: book holistic treatments with our team of holistic practitioners, or snooze in a hammock, soak up the sun, swim in the pool, walk through groves of olives, lemons and eucalyptus, or book a horseback ride (choice of two riding schools).
