Captain Don has sailed extensively throughout the Caribbean. He holds 200 ton Yachtmaster certification and 100 BVI ton Local Yachtmaster. Charter guests describe him as easy going, fun, patient and reliable. He enjoys sharing his knowledge of the Caribbean and knows how to customise a charter itinerary per guest preferences. He lives by the credo, “live every day to the fullest”, which is why his goal is to make every day on the charter extraordinary.
You and your travel companion will have a full private cabin with either a queen sized bed or twin bunks plus a bathroom all to yourselves. There is ample room for storage, and bedding will be provided.
If you’ve never slept out on the water, you are in for a huge treat. There is nothing like being rocked gently to sleep and waking to the sun streaming in through the port hole. In the morning you will start your day with a delicious vegan breakfast.

Sample Itinerary – Abaco Islands in the Bahamas
Geographically, the Abacos are simply ideal for boating and sailing. The coastline is scalloped with bays and coves and protected harbours that feature full-service marinas and resorts.
The large island also acts like a mainland, with a long string of barrier islands lying off its east coast. In between is the Sea of Abaco, a brilliant-blue body of water that’s shallow and protected but still large enough to offer miles and miles of sailing and exploring.
Day 1 (Friday):
We will begin our Adventure by meeting Captain Don at Marsh Harbor, where he will be waiting with the boat stocked and ready for our arrival. From there, we will sail to Man-O-War Cay. Man-O-War Cay is a conservative and “dry island.” You will be able to find just a few restaurants, four little churches, a grocery, one hardware store, a boat yard, and some narrow lanes.
This town in the middle of nowhere is so tiny that it will take less than an hour to explore. The people are quiet and reserved but very friendly and polite. There are several beautiful beaches where you can spend the day, sit back and relax. You’ll find endless opportunities for kayaking, paddle boarding, swimming, snorkelling, scuba diving and sunning
Day 2 (Saturday):
We will travel to Great Guana Cay. If kicking back and relaxing with no schedule is your wish, than Great Guana is the right place for it! The reef strewn ocean beaches that line its 5.5 miles of coast are reputedly the most beautiful in all the Abacos.
The white sand beach is bathed in waters of every shade of blue, aqua marine and turquoise. We will make a stop at the Fowl Cay Marine Park for snorkelling in the clear blue water to see beautiful Barracuda swimming among coral reefs. And just at the Northern of Great Guana, we’ll have the opportunity to visit a fantastic beach surrounded by a tree-lined cove where you can enjoy watching the most beautiful topography of the island.
Day 3 (Sunday):
We’ll make our way to Green Turtle Cay, the most northern and populace cay in the Abacos. For vacationers, it has plenty to do and explore, whether it is to do a picnic on the beach, dive with wild dolphins, swimming with turtles, or feed the swimming pigs. History enthusiasts will enjoy the Albert Lowe Museum. Once used as a fisherman’s home, today it has became a famous place on the Abacos where you’ll discover a fascinating history, each post on the wall which will add to your journey.
Day 4 (Monday):
We’ll head to the beautiful Treasure Cay, The beach here was voted one of the region’s top 10 beaches in a reader poll by Caribbean Travel & Life. There are no pictures that can prepare a visitor for the awesome sight of this beach; its size, its white powdery sand and those beautiful blue waters.
All that and there are no crowds; there’s plenty of room to create your own private oasis. We’ll make a stop for snorkeling in the clear blue water among all kinds of bonefish at Manjack Cay, a perfect place to relax, swim, fish and …enjoy
Day 5 (Tuesday):
We’ll set sail for Hope Town, the main settlement on Elbow Cay and home to the famous candy striped lighthouse a favorite photo subject now, but quite controversial when it was under construction back in 1863 because up until then, the island’s residents had been making a comfortable living by salvaging ships that wrecked on the offshore reefs. Hope Town is a quaint village, home to wonderful people, great food, beautiful beaches, breathtaking sunsets, and of course, world-class sailing, snorkeling, diving, and fishing.
Day 6 (Wednesday):
We’ll visit Little Harbor. Sailing to the North of Little Harbor will bring us to the Pelican Cays Land and Sea Park at Sandy Cay. Please… take your underwater camera with you because if you don’t, you might regret it!
This is one if not, the best place in the world for snorkeling. You’ll have the chance to explore Turtles, beautiful fishes of all kinds, fantastic coral reefs, undersea caves, Spotted Eagle Rays, and red arrows. Even if you decide to come back year after year, you will never get bored here! It’s always great to have a good dinner after a long snorkeling tour.
Pete’s Tavern will be the best option to enjoy excellent services, tasty food, refreshing drinks, and fabulous ambiance.
Day 7 (Thursday):
We’ll spend our final day back at Elbow Cay where we can anchor at Tahiti beach to swim in the clear blue water, find some sea shells, and explore small sea life.
Day 8 (Friday):
We’ll have a short final sail back to Marsh Harbor as we prepare to carry home our windswept memories of relaxation.
Sample Itinerary – British Virgin Islands
Day 1 (Friday):
We will begin our Adventure by meeting Captain Don at West End, Tortola where he will be waiting with the boat stocked and ready for our arrival. From there, we will sail to Norman Island, known as “Treasure Island,” where pirates are rumored to have hidden their booty. Here we will discover a wealth beyond imagination on hikes above the beautiful sea and discover the real treasure inside through yoga and meditation on the beach.
Day 2 (Saturday):
We will travel to the exquisite and exclusive Peter Island. Here you’ll have the option to visit one of the best spas in the world, located at the peak of the island, overlooking a deserted beach with rolling white caps and hovering pelicans. Indulge in a massage or simply lounge on Dead Man’s Beach after yoga. We’ll end the day with a sumptuous dinner ashore under the stars.
Day 3 (Sunday):
We’ll make our way to Cooper Island, a hidden gem with incredible snorkeling and a lovely, quiet anchorage. We can explore the shoreline here, dive or snorkel one of the several sunken ships nearby and have dinner at the intimate Cooper Island Beach club.
Day 4 (Monday):
We’ll head to the incredible Virgin Gorda where we can greet the sun with salutations in the third largest island in the BVI. We will bond with nature and discover the island’s natural beauty as we wander indigenous, plant-lined trails. To cool off, we can swim in the waters of one of the island’s 4 secret bays and end the day snorkeling at the world-famous Baths, a bay studded with amazing rock formations and teeming with colorful fish.
Day 5 (Tuesday):
Depending on the weather, we’ll either earn our sea legs with a long sail to Anegada or take a leisurely trop over to Marina Cay. Each one offers a unique and delightful experience. The long passage to Anegada provides an opportunity to truly commune with open waters and wind.
Known for its seclusion and fresh, delicious lobster, it’s well worth the trip! And the flower covered island of Marina Cay delights the senses and allows you to snorkel with colorful fish and other sea creatures before satisfying your appetite for fresh cuisine at the renowned Pussers Restaurant ashore.
Day 6 (Wednesday):
We’ll choose either Guana Island or the legendary Jost Van Dyke. Guana is one of the few remaining privately owned islands in this part of the world, and with white sandy beaches and 850 acres of tropical forest, mountains, hills and valleys, it’s a nature lovers dream. On the other hand, Jost is referred to as “barefoot island,” and is reknowned world-wide as the capital of casual. With choices like these, you’ll arrive at a whole new level of relaxation as we start to get towards the end of our journey.
Day 7 (Thursday):
We’ll spend our final day at Cane Garden Bay in Tortola, a favorite of sailors, and water sports enthusiasts of all sorts. If there is anything you’ve been wishing for and haven’t found on our journey up until now, you can find it here, from special last minute souvenirs to live music. We’re sure to drift off to sleep with the lullaby of gentle steel drums mixed in to the waves.
Day 8 (Friday):
We’ll have a short final sail back to West End where you can catch a Ferry towards St. Thomas…OR, maybe you’ll decide to stay and embrace the island life for good!
