This is time for you to share the love inwards. Space and time to nurture your physical, mental and emotional self, to reflect and recharge within a beautiful holistic retreat centre in Devon.

Delving into morning and evening nurturing, mindful and bodyful yoga and meditation practices, let’s move and pause, rest and release, journal and sit, listening to feelings and whisperings of the heart that might not always have the chance to be heard.

Let’s come together and create community within a small group of amazing Mama’s. Chat, laugh and listen, connect and take time alone to stroll and ponder – or even take an uninterrupted nap. Bliss.

With plenty of free time to carve as you wish, stroll the 5 acres of land, nap, read, sip tea, chat, and enjoy a wonderful one hour holistic or deep tissue massage with Imogen (if this is within your booking option – see below). The North Devon coast is also a short drive away.

After dinner, the Sauna Garden awaits, complete with a woodfired sauna plus outdoor ‘plunge’ shower and hot showers to enjoy. Fires, indoor or out, weather allowing, will keep us cosy under the dark starry skies. Info & booking.

Chosen for its spaciousness and impressive headroom, the Skoolie Stays bus is now living a second life as luxurious, off-grid accommodation with plenty of room for a family of four to enjoy a unique glamping experience.

Juniper and Thistle Luxury Glamping

”Luxury glamping in converted horse boxes with wood-fired hot tubs in the heart of Scotland, a secluded escape for couples or families.

Wake up surrounded by the spectacular Scottish countryside with views across Gleneagles and out to the Highlands. Both have their own wood-fired hot tubs and space for two adults and two young children.

Juniper is hidden away in the Scots pines creating some privacy while allowing glimpses out to the Highlands through the trees. This impressive 7.5 tonne converted Leyland horse lorry now has a beautiful wood-clad interior that sleeps a family of four and even has room for a roll top bath tub.

There’s a comfy double bed with a sprung mattress, crisp white linen and feather pillows and duvet. The bed for the kids is located in a nook above the lorry cab, creating a cosy space for them. There’s also a kitchenette and an ensuite with a flushing toilet.

The Saw Mill, Glen Dye Estate

From Canopy and Stars

”Soak in the outdoor bath with tunes on the record player, dine on wood-fired pizza, then follow strings of lights to your airstream bedroom.

As the name suggests, this beautiful camp occupies the footprint of the Glen Dye estate’s old sawmill. What no name could possibly suggest is the incredible blend of peace and adventure packed into the private clearing in the woods.

You’ll wake to birdsong and the rippling of the old mill stream from the huge double bed of the 50s original Safari Caravan, then make your way to the Forester’s Seed Store cabin, your lounge and kitchen, itself a lovingly-restored 20s building.

You have several options for cooking, from the kitchen in the seed store that will please the keenest chef, to the Big Green Egg oven or the wild challenge of the firepit.

You even get a choice of how adventurous to make your bathing. There’s a hot shower in The Wash House, which also houses the flushing loo, but to use that would be a waste when you could soak in the Swedish wood-fired bath then dash to where the stream has been channelled over a wide stone lip and take a bracing rinse in the cascade.” Info & booking.
