The Heart Chakra, otherwise known as Anahata in Sanskrit is about connecting and relating. Bringing the spiritual in to the physical. Giving and receiving. Seeing the beauty in Life. Seeing the beauty in ourselves and honouring the beauty in others too.
The first connection that we have is to ourselves, regardless of who else we are in relationship to in our lives and we will be exploring these themes more throughout our afternoon together.

Upon arrival, you will be welcomed with a warming organic rose tea and a organic healthy cacao brownie in the beautiful, spacious pantry. There is a reason that we give roses to the ones that we love as this herb embodies love, peace and acceptance. Likewise, cacao has been used for centuries by the South Americans as it is known to open our heart centres.

Afterwards, to open your afternoon, you will be guided through a ‘Blanket of Love’ visualisation practice, seamlessly transitioning in to a nourishing and restful Yin Yoga practice where we will be joined by cellist Arina Brovanova who will take you on a introspective journey with her live performance. Self Care Day Retreat at Healing House

This Self-Care Day retreat promises to be a nourishing experience designed to give you techniques to practice at home. All techniques on this retreat are about self-care and thus the focus will be on Anahata chakra or the Heart Chakra, the Chakra which governs love. Love of the self and of those around us. We will learn some gentle and powerful practices of self-massage, yoga asana, pranayama and meditation for self-care, self-support, and self-love!

You will be supported with gentle yoga movements, relaxing pranayama, self-massage, and self-care tips. You will learn simple and effective self-massage techniques that help to stimulate circulation, soothe muscle tension, and reduce anxiety and stress – all helping to create a calm mind and body.

By bringing awareness to your mind and body you can adopt these techniques to support and enhance your wellness.
