At Sages Retreats our main purpose is to focus on self-care and well-being. We create tailored wellness programs for each individual that contribute to each guest’s own transformative experience, growth, personal development, creativity, and complete relaxation.

We offer a carefully curated selection of activities and workshops that align with the theme of the retreat. These activities include; yoga, meditation sessions, nature walks, art, mindfulness practices, holistic healings, spa treatments, learning, and personal growth.

Teachers
Fully qualified, highly experienced yoga teachers to guide you on your yoga journey. We have a select few teachers we work with on retreat (based on availability as our teachers live and work here full time in Bali).
All of our teachers have legal working visas to work in Indonesia.
Cuisine
We are a plant based retreat. We also cater for all dietary needs e.g. GF, lactose intolerant. You will receive three heavenly plant based meals per day; breakfast, lunch, & dinner.
Complimentary fresh daily snacks between meals. Unlimited herbal teas, coffee, coconuts, & fresh water.
One meal out so our guests can experience the delicious dining in Canggu (not included).

What to pack
With flights, itinerary, and accommodation arranged all you need to do now is pack.
We have put together a holiday packing checklist to help you start your transformative wellness experience on a positive note. We want to make sure you arrive prepared.
Appropriate Clothing: If it helps to reduce stress, arrange your outfits according to your daily agenda. Yoga is going to be part of your daily itinerary. You might want to pack a few different yoga outfits. Bali can get very hot and during yoga there is a chance you could get sweaty and hot. Having a selection of yoga clothes means you will always have something clean to put on.
Bring some comfortable shoes. There is time on your schedule for you to explore the local area so make sure to pack a pair of trainers or walking shoes. You’ll miss out if you don’t spend some of your free time exploring on foot, taking it all in.
You’ll also be walking around the retreat centre between your room, the yoga space, the pool, and the dining area. You will receive a cozy pair of slippers from us but you might want to bring your own pair of slippers/sandals.
Weather can be difficult to predict. Chances are it’s going to be sunny and hot, but there is always a chance of rain. We suggest packing a light rain jacket just in case.
Journal & Pen: Think about why you booked this retreat. Retreats are about relaxation and reflection. Pack a small notebook so you’re always ready to write down your thoughts and feelings. It’s important to take all you learn away with you so you’re able to continue your wellness journey when you return home.
Sun Protection, Hat & Sunglasses: You’ll probably want to take some time to relax on a sun lounger around the pool and get stuck into a good book. Sunny skies add to that feeling of untroubled restfulness and gratitude. However, we all know that too much sun exposure can be damaging and we need to take care of ourselves. Be sure to pack some sun cream, a hat, and a good quality pair of sunglasses. Your body will thank you.
Small Backpack or Tote Bag: You’ll be moving around the retreat and we already have some trips planned. A small bag will allow you to take key items with you wherever you go.
Cash: Most places in Bali do accept card payments (most places do not accept American Express), but it is a good idea to bring some cash. You might discover a small market somewhere in a local village… cash is king in this kind of scenario.
If you need to change your money into IDR (Indonesian Rupiah) there are many currency exchanges around town that give great rates. We do not recommend doing this at the airport as the exchange rates are extremely high.
