About The Retreat
Located just 400 meters from the sandy shores of Agios Gordios on the west coast of Corfu, Yoga Corfu Holidays offer guests an excellent chance for self-discovery both on and off the yoga mat. We aim to provide a holistic, rejuvenating experience for our guests with a combination of yoga practice, leisure activities, cultural insights, socializing, and lots of fun.
Accommodation will be in a charming hotel offering sea-view rooms, surrounded by stunning nature. Ideal for solo travelers, couples, or small groups looking to enjoy beautiful beaches, sunshine, delicious local cuisine, and new friendships.
Guests can choose from a range of packages designed to suit any schedule. They can opt for stays of 4, 7, 11 or 14 days, or tailor their stay length according to their preferences. They can arrive on a day that works for them and can stay for as long as they like.
Activities / classes
Sessions will be guided by experienced and passionate teachers who will adjust their teaching methods to suit the different skill levels of participants. We welcome both beginners and advanced practitioners. Styles of yoga will include Hatha, Vinyasa, Yin, Restorative, Ashtanga, and Nidra.
Teachers / instructors
Vanessa Ness, one of our long-term teachers is proficient in helping participants to begin their day with an hour long Vinyasa Flow class to harness energy, strength, and inspiration. Her evening class is designed for a restorative stretch, reflection and relaxing meditation, perfect after an adventure-filled day.
The flow of each practice will change, but the goal will always be the same: To provide participants with energy and relaxation so they can maximize their experience in Corfu.
Camila Escalona will be teaching Hatha yoga using his personal mantra of “KISS: Keep It Spiritually Simple”. His mantra is meant to build trust and break through self-doubt using a simple yet effective self practice to help participants on their unique journeys towards self acceptance and well being.
Schedule / Typical day
Each day will begin with a 75-minute morning yoga session starting at 08:30 am. After yoga, guests will be offered breakfast, and will then have the choice to join one of the daily organized group activities such as a guided walking/hiking tour, trips to Corfu town, kayaking, and other pursuits.
Activities are optional of course, and guests are not required to take part. If they prefer, they can use their free time to soak up the sun by our pool, visit the beach, read a book, or relax as they see fit. At 18:00, we will offer another 75-minute yoga session for those who wish to join, with dinner being served at around 20:00.
Healthy Food
Both breakfast and dinner are included and are generally served after a yoga session, and will be healthy, nutritious and fresh, in a Greek style. Breakfast typically consists of coffee, tea, fresh fruit, cereals, muesli, yogurt, honey and eggs.
At dinner guests can choose from a selection of fish, meat, vegetarian and vegan options. Please advice us of any special dietary requirements in advance (at the time of booking).
How to get here
We offer a complimentary shuttle bus transfer service up on arrival and on departure to all our yoga participants from both Corfu International Airport and the port of Corfu Town. This service is available daily between 08.30 – 23:00.
