This is an active wellness retreat in Chiang Mai Thailand. A transformative experience where you can unwind, relax, recharge and restore in a safe and supportive homely environment.

It’s time to shake off your everyday worries, disconnect, and find your bliss on this yoga, activity and wellness retreat, nestled in the foot hills of Chiang Mai Northern Thailand.

Yoga and fitness activities including a cycle day out to the Mae Sa waterfall. Daily meditation. Walking through the picturesque Thai countryside.

Healthy Thai food is eaten in a homely villa and on restaurant trips out. Climbing Doi Suthep temple steps, walking around Huay Tung Tao Lake, and visiting the famous Chiang Mai night bazaar and Sunday walk in the Market.

In the evening experience yoga Nidra, sound baths, restorative yoga, and sleepy herbal teas. There is a team of Thai massage therapists who will soothe your body and soul.

Teachers & Host

LOUISE THOMAS
Louise loves to share her passion for yoga, pilates, meditation, fitness and healthy living. Her mission is to bring joy and inspiration into people’s lives, she feels nourished when she helps others. Her hope is that she radiates an aura of resilience and comfort to those she teaches and work with. Louise has been teaching for 35 years and hosting retreats in Thailand since 2010.

She has a Degree in Leisure and Sports Studies. Lousie is also a British Wheel of Yoga and Yoga for Health qualified teacher, has a OCR level 3 pilates qualification and has a meditation diploma with the British School of meditation. She is also a Soul Purpose and Sound healing practitioner.

Her ultimate aim is to lift people up, to raise their vibration and to improve their physical, emotional and mental wellbeing. Louise wants to help her guests and studens to come back to balance and equilibrium and feel joy in their lives.

Louise teaches vinyasa , Nidra and restorative yoga. Suitable for all levels Louise will adapt and modify to suit her students.

Cuisine

We will provide you with mouth-watering, healthy cuisine in a calm and magical setting. Meals are eaten in our Lanna Villa and we also eat out at local restaurants.

If you like Thai food then you won’t be disappointed. A sample of our Thai specialities include Phad Thai, Thai green curry, Som Tum smoked salmon, Thom Kha Gai (coconut soup with chicken) and our healthy favourite is Khao Soi with vegetables.

Our fresh meal plan also includes fresh fruit like mango and papaya, salads and soups. We we love our fresh juices and guests get fresh coconuts straight off of the trees. Our nourishing smoothies and juices are made onsite in our own kitchen!

We have our own Chef Khun Ning who will prepare and our meals for us. Our standard menu can be adjusted for vegetarians and vegans. It you have different dietary requirements then Louise will help you with meal choices. All meals are gluten and dairy free.

We also eat outside of the Lanna Villa. On Sundays we have dinner at Tha Pae Gate before we explore the walk in market.

On Mondays we take a visit to Khun Nings hotel and restaurant and have a dip in her pool afterwards, where Louise can also teach aqua.

On Tuesday’s dinner Louise will take you to one of her favourite local restaurants, where you can feed the fish in their lake. On Wednesday, during the cycle day, you will eat at the beautiful Sala cafe. The Sala cafe is situated in the unspoilt Thai countryside with beautiful, exotic gardens and relaxing atmosphere.

On Thursday lunch you will eat at ‘Tub-usa’, a local authentic restaurant. On Fridays you will shower, sauna and swim at the 5 star Shang-re-la Hotel. After this, you will eat out in Chiang Mai city, right next to the Ping river! Much of the fresh food comes from local organic farms.
