Breakfast​

Gallo pinto, tofu scramble, pico de gallo, avocado and fresh fruits

Smoky refried beans on patacones with roast corn

Coconut and mango chia pudding with a fruity oat bar

Coconut porridge with caramelised pineapple and almonds

Lunch​

Plantain tacos with a chipotle mayo and a side of tahini and orange coleslaw

Crunchy veggie rolls with peanut dipping sauce

Raw zucchini pasta with pesto and sun-dried tomatoes

Falafel and hummus wrap with green salad

Butternut squash soup with fresh bread

Eggplant and balsamic tomato sandwich with green salad

‘Tico’ quinoa salad with beans, avocado, fresh herbs and patacones

Dinner​

Vegan sausage with mashed potatoes, roast cherry tomatoes and green salad

Homemade herby pasta with roast squash and tomato sauce, sauteed garlic mushrooms and pesto

Vegan burger in a fresh bun with pickles, potato wedges and coleslaw

Seared mushroom, noodles and ginger and garlic stir fried veggies

‘Fish and chips’ poached cauliflower in a beer batter with lemon and mint pea puree and potato wedges

Spicy bean casserole on curried sweet potato mash and greens

Vegetable curry with korma style Indian sauce, brown rice and onion salad

Each guest is responsible for coordinating their own flights. Transportation to and from the airport is included in your package – we don’t want you getting you lost!

​Flights

Book a flight to Juan Santamaría International Airport (SJO) or Liberia International Airport (LIR)

From either of those locations, catch a local flight on Sansa Air or Green Airways to Tambor. (20 mins).

From Tambor, we’ll arrange a taxi or shuttle for you to the retreat. (45 mins).

Top Travel Tip:

We have found that it works best to come in a day early and stay at a hotel in Tambor. This way if there are any flight hiccups or travel delays, you’ll still get to enjoy the full retreat.

If you do stay come to stay in Tambor a day early:

You can book an airport shuttle ($30) when booking the local Sansa Air flight from San Jose to Tambor, or if you fly with Green Airways your hotel can arrange a shuttle, or you can take a cab to your hotel ($60).​

Departure

As you leave the retreat we recommend staying and enjoy the magic of this funky surf village for a day or so if you can.

If you do want to head straight to the airport, we’ll be arranging taxis at 11am to take you to the airport so arrange your flight accordingly.
