About The Retreat

Luxury Ritual+Renewal Yoga Retreat, Marrakech

Join us on our newest itinerary of renewing yoga & self care, alongside the lessons of tea ceremony and how to foster and create your own daily ritual.

Join us for a special week of deep renewal as we explore the power of ritual to bring us into the present moment and into the flow state.

The ceremony of tea will guide the flow of each day’s activities, which include a day trip to the medina, time to enjoy a traditional tea ceremony at a beautiful luxe hotel in town, camel rides and a visit to the dunes and desert outside the town, shopping at the souks, a spa day at a luxury hammam and a tea blending workshop, time to relax on site by the pool, walking gardens, or with a massage and henna party, and daily yoga classes with flow and/or yin.

Yin yoga, like tea ceremony, facilitates deep emotional release and heart opening and so accentuates our exploration of mindfulness, connection and slow, soulful living!

Guests will leave with an understanding of tea as a plant, a lifestyle and a divine beverage, as well as a personal tea ritual: a hand-blended tea and a daily practice to turn the mundane into meditation and tap into the bliss of the present moment.

On this luxury retreat there is even a meal at Sir Richard Branson’s luxury retreat in the Atlas Mountains and a gourmet lunch at the famous historic La Mamounia.

t the retreat includes some amazing day-trips to the surrounding sites. A guided day in Marrakesh will lead guests through an introduction to souks and visits to sites such as Bahia Palace or Ben Youssef Madrasa.

A day will be spent at one of Marrakesh’s most famous luxury hotels to enjoy the pool and a gourmet meal, with an afternoon where we’ll indulge in an abundant high tea in Morocco’s most exclusive locales.

We will pay a visit to the YSL Museum and Majorelle Gardens, as well as a dinner out in one of the upscale properties and restaurants in the new part of the city. We’ll stop by to see camels on the dunes at sunset for those who may want to mark this off their bucket-list!

The week will include a visit to a luxurious spa facility, where guests can be pampered with various treatments. What better way to wrap up a week of yoga than a day of pure relaxation.

What past guests have said

This is not your uncle’s travel guide tour
“My wife and I have participated in four of these retreats. Each time we have been completely captivated by the experience. The locations are absolutely spectacular. The food and wine is local, healthy, fresh and delicious. The daily trips are personal, structured (but not overly so), enthralling, adventurous and chic.

Erin offers an intimate and deeply restorative experience. It is invitation to form lifetime friendships with people who are curious, joyful and fun.

Many times we feel like we are not only getting a sense for a place but being invited to peer behind the veil and see what is invisible to many travelers, all informed by Erin’s appreciative eye for beauty, story and style.

Finally the yoga is inclusive and healing. I love the music, the settings, the flow and Erin’s ability to meet you where you are at in your practice. We highly recommend the experience!”. Rene – California, USA

The Marrakech retreat was like a dream
“Every detail from the warm welcome to the departure lunch was fabulous and so thoughtful. Erin’s wonderful personality along with all the women in our group created a beautiful energy full of fun, adventure and inspiration.

Everyday there were new activities, treasures to see at Peacock Pavillions, yoga postures and beautiful table settings in the stunning dinning tent. Along with Erin, Maryam and Chris were so welcoming and made us feel so comfortable.

Peacock Pavilions was an amazing and perfect setting. Thanks so much Erin – my mom and I had a fantastic week and we look forward to another one…maybe Italy next.” Michele – Vancouver, Canada

I signed up for the September trip to Marrakech and it was one of the finest travel experiences of my life.
“I have always had a love of travel and a spirit of adventure, but as an almost 69-year old single woman, I believed my opportunities were limited and tame.

The accommodations were beautiful. The service. wonderful, The feeling of family and good friends surrounded us. Instead of being in a hotel, with the usual hotel culture, I was able to experience a true Moroccan lifestyle, including delicious food served on a delightful porch near the beautiful pool during the day and in a picturesque tent in the evening.

The activities were fabulous: walking around in the walled old city with shopping galore, going on a day trip to a beach town, including riding a camel, (I fantasized being Lawrence of Arabia) and dining in exceptional Marrakech restaurants. We received henna treatments and spent an afternoon at a spa. Of course, there was yoga and meditation every day, too. It was a wonderful, exciting and affordable trip. I can’t wait to see next year’s schedule!.” Bonnie – Pennsylvania, USA
