About The Retreat
Escape the noise of daily life and immerse yourself in a weekend of deep connection, rest, and renewal. Set within the tranquil beauty of the New Forest, this retreat is designed to help you reconnect with yourself and the natural world around you.
Activities
Daily Asana & breathwork: Flow into your body with hatha, somatic yin yoga, Qi Gong, and grounding practices designed to release tension and cultivate awareness.
Connection & Pausing: Throughout the retreat, we will take time for stillness and quiet, allowing space to simply be. We will also explore yoga philosophy, reflecting on its wisdom and how it can support us in daily life. These moments of silence and reflection are powerful tools for rejuvenation, helping us reconnect with ourselves on a deeper level.
Nature Walks & Forest Bathing: Wander among the ancient trees of the New Forest, tuning into the sights, sounds, and smells of nature.
Creativity Workshops: Rediscover your inner artist through hands-on activities inspired by the natural world.
Sauna Sessions: Enjoy the warmth and relaxation of the sauna, helping you unwind and connect with your breath.
Face Massage Workshop: Learn simple, restorative techniques to care for your skin and bring a sense of calm to your routine.
Your Retreat Leader
I first discovered yoga 20 years ago through various asana classes. I was drawn to the practice for the way it made me feel—comfortable and confident in my body. Initially, I pursued yoga teacher training as a path of self-development, with no immediate plans to teach, as I was already immersed in a busy freelance creative events career. However, following a stroke in 2022, I was forced to pause and tune deeper into myself. In that stillness, I discovered that the tools I had learned through yoga became my greatest healing superpower.
My classes focus on movement that encourages you to tune in and truly feel what’s happening in your body—nothing is a performance. I intertwine yogic philosophy, poetry, massage, and Ayurvedic practices into my classes, creating a deeply immersive experience. Everything I share is authentic to me in that moment, allowing space for natural flow and intuition.
Whether you’re a complete beginner or a seasoned yogi, my classes invite you to slow down, listen in, and gently cultivate inner awareness and ease. I also love weaving in tools from Qi Gong, acupressure, intuitive dance, and nature-based rituals.
All of this is designed to allow you to be authentically you. Movement is just one part of your yoga practice – it’s when you step off the mat that the real yoga begins. My aim is to help you feel happy in yourself and share tools that bring balance when life feels overwhelming.
