Come and join us on our September/October yoga holiday in Corfu, Greece. It is a beautiful Island with lush green hills and calm turquoise waters, and it is a great time to visit. It is still a really warm temperature of around 23 degrees so you can choose to relax by the pool or the beach but it is also cool enough to go walking and biking and exploring.

If you feel like total relaxation, stay around the pool and read a good book or walk a short 10 minutes to the local beach for a sea swim or try out kayaking and paddleboarding. If you feel like being more active the venue has bikes and can arrange a biking tour. Enjoy one walk day included in the price and see some beautiful views. There are a few days of exploring already included in the price.

When you arrive, enjoy an orientation walk of the local area and explore the grounds that are also an organic farm, growing specifically Kumquat – as well as seasonal vegetables and olives.

The week will follow with beach days, pool days, a cooking class, a trip to explore Corfu town with dinner out and a day exploring an old village called Afiona, that takes you to the iconic bay of Porto Timoni where you can chill out on the beach after a 40-minute walk down the cliffs to the spectacular bay.

Enjoy yoga twice a day in the yoga shala and the day is yours to do as you please.

Accommodation

Our venue is brand new and has been designed and built in an eco-conscious way, following the guidelines of Green Key whose criteria ensure the highest standards of sustainability within tourism. It is also an organic farm and the food that you will eat will be straight from the garden.

It has been lovingly built by a family who cares about the environment and has consciously wanted this property to work with the planet to protect her, working with Green Key to follow their guidelines for a sustainable property. Using materials that create better insulation in winter and cool rooms in summer to lessen the use of air conditioning systems amongst some of the actions they have taken.

Now onto the accommodation:

It consists of 5 apartments. There is one studio apartment with a single occupancy bedroom, a living/dining area and kitchen and an en-suite bathroom. It is spacious and has an outdoor terrace with natural shade from the pergola and views of the pool.

Three other apartments are the same, with a twin room with two single beds for two people sharing, a single occupancy room with a double bed and an en-suite for each room. They also have a living/dining area and kitchen with an outdoor terrace and seating.

Finally, there is a maisonette apartment with two floors. On the ground floor, there is a twin room with two single beds for two people sharing and a bathroom. There is a spacious living/dining and kitchen area leading out to an outdoor terrace with natural shade. Upstairs you will find another bedroom for single occupancy, a bathroom and a lounge area.

Yoga Classes

Wake up to the sound of the cicadas and make your way to the outdoor and shady yoga shala.

In the mornings there will be a more dynamic yoga class to wake the body and mind with meditation and pranayama whilst overlooking the views of the sea below.

The evening classes will be yin and restorative yoga and held either in the yoga studio or outside. With 3 hours of yoga over 6 days, start to unwind from your daily life and release into relaxation and feel your energy revitalise over your week with us. Any age, ability or level can enjoy this yoga practice.

Schedule / Typical day

Arrival and Departure days:

Everyone arrives at different times on arrival day so settle in and get ready for the welcome meeting and evening meal with the group. Yoga starts the next morning and continues throughout the week. People leave at different times on the last day so the last yoga class will be in the evening on the last night, before the final dinner.

Food / Cuisine

The food on this yoga holiday in Corfu is created by a local Greek chef and will all be vegetarian or vegan. If you have any dietary needs please let us know and we can accommodate them.

The fruit and vegetables will be straight from the organic garden to the table and a creative menu of delicious Greek-inspired dishes will be enjoyed.

Expect delicious and creative brunches, a few light lunches, and 2-course evening meal for 5 evenings. Each meal will be balanced to keep you energised all day.

On one afternoon you will enjoy a cooking lesson and will be able to enjoy the food afterwards.

Mandarin Studio:

This is a studio apartment with a bedroom with king size bed, kitchen and dining area, bathroom and outdoor terrace with natural shade from the pergola:

Bergamot, Lemon and orange Apartments:

These apartments are 3 room apartments with a single occupancy room with a double bed and a twin room with two single beds for two people sharing, both with en-suite bathrooms. The apartments have a living/kitchen area and a terrace for outdoor dining.

Single occupancy double bed: £1699

Twin room for two people sharing: £1399pp

Grapefruit apartment:

This apartment is a maisonette with a twin room for two people sharing with two single beds on the ground floor with a bathroom, kitchen and living area overlooking the outdoor terrace. There is another single occupancy bedroom upstairs with its own bathroom and living area.

Location and how to get there

Corfu is easily accessible from a number of UK airports and various airlines. The flight time is roughly 3 hours and 15 minutes.

Flights

Arrive at Corfu airport no later than 12:00, so you have time to clear customs and baggage reclaim. The shared transfer will depart at 13:00.

Depart from Corfu airport after 12:00. Our shared transfer will leave the venue at 9:00 to arrive back at the airport at 10:00. This will give you enough time for travel and check-in.

Transfers: The transfer to the venue is included in the price if you either catch the recommended flights or book flights with similar arrival and departure times so you can meet at the airport for the group transfer.

The transfer takes around 1 hour. If you can’t make the group free transfer we can help arrange a private transfer at an extra cost.
