Five Peaks Yoga is a new retreat venue set in the Cotswolds. Nestled in an elevated position with stunning views over the surrounding hills & countryside.
Our weekend retreats include a daily hike across the surrounding hills. Walking up to 3 hours each day along the famous Cotswold Way, taking in stunning views across the Severn estuary, the Welsh mountains and local countryside.
Our local, award winning chef will source, prepare and serve a range of delicious vegetarian or vegan meals throughout our weekend retreats.
Teachers
Neil has a deep desire to help people and bring tangible benefits to those who need support. Comprehensive training in India, Bali, and Thailand resulted in an enjoyable and rewarding 6 years of guiding students through Yoga and wellbeing practices.
He pursues a softer therapeutic aspect to teaching and was inspired by Tal Swissa of Luna Alignment Yoga, to help students avoid injury, by practicing with safety and stability in mind.
Neil’s teaching style has continued to evolve, combining functional movement with continual references to postural alignment and how this awareness can benefit students in everyday life.
Neil is now training to become a therapist, to help those with common health conditions via close 1-2-1 support, incorporating gentle movement, tailored breathing practices, and deep relaxation techniques.
Schedule & Activities
Arrival time is Friday at 4pm and we bid you farewell on Sunday at 3pm. We welcome you into the studio on Friday for an introduction, followed by a Mindful Movement class.
A delicious dinner prepared by a local chef will be served, giving you a chance to get to know your fellow guests.
We close the day with a meditation practice, preparing you for a restful night’s sleep. Saturday morning we welcome the day with sunrise meditation at 7am followed by breakfast and a Functional Mobility practice, focussing on strength and stability.
Lunch will be served and then a guided walk awaits. We will set off across the Cotswold hills, taking in stunning panoramic views of the surrounding area and Severn Estuary.
Returning to the studio, a gentle hip class will be followed by Yoga Nidra, experiencing a deep state of relaxation. Dinner will be served and your day will finish with another meditation, setting you up for another good night of sleep.
Sunday morning meditation greets the day at 7am, ahead of breakfast and an energising Yoga practice focussing on Chest Opening and Backbends. A shorter hike will take in the stunning views to the South, before returning for lunch and a final farewell gathering.
