Are you looking for an inspiring and nourishing seaside yoga holiday in Croatia under the Mediterranean sun? Do you want to go somewhere where you can roll out your yoga mat by the sea in the morning, explore secluded beautiful beaches and unspoiled island’s nature in the afternoon, and cleanse your body with organic food and detox juices? Then this week long retreat on Korcula Island, Croatia is perfect for you!.
Experience the joys of a seaside yoga practice combined with meditation and breathing exercises. You will also experience excursions to the magical nature park of island Mljet with salt lakes, an olive grove farm with wild herb workshop where you will be able to learn about the culinary use and medical benefits of Mediterranean herbs, a boat ride to secluded beaches, and a tour to an organic Bee farm.
One day we will take a hiking tour through the hills of Mljet with a professional guide who is a professor of history and social ecology. He is a passionate hiker, alpinist and nature lover.
During this hike you will enjoy the lushes vegetation, breath taking views, and have the opportunity to learn about long history of Mljet island, as well as about richness of Mljet’s flora and fauna.
There will also be an easy, slow hike to beautiful mountain Montokuc with breathtaking panoramic views – hike towards the top will be done in silence, with mobile phones turned off, so that we can enjoy “forest bathing” and connect with ourselves on a deeper level. T
his hike will be followed by fresh fish or veggies lunch, from the garden to table, at the small local taverna next to the lake, run by the local fishermen and his wife. You will not only enjoy great food but will also take in the amazing surroundings with your table perched next to the lake.
Most of all on our seaside yoga retreat, you will discover all the joys of the Mediterranean and have a lot of fun in the process! The extensive local knowledge of the retreat team ensures that you will enjoy the most authentic sights, flavours and experiences of Croatia.

Yoga
Our seaside yoga and meditation classes are suitable for everyone, from beginner to experienced yogi. They consist of a fusion of various styles, including Hatha, Ashtanga, Vinyasa flow, elements of Kundalini and uses breathing techniques such as Pranayama.
Each class has time devoted to meditation, self awareness and consciousness. You will able to attend morning seaside yoga classes every day. While strengthening your body, you will be balancing your mind simultaneously.
The morning session will be an energising, dynamic 1.5-hour of yoga practice to start your day, including surya namaskar (sun salutations). The one hour evening session (e.g. pranayama, restorative, and yoga nindra) is designed with a more restorative, calmer approach to end your day and to reflect on it. You will be able to learn more about yoga, meditation, and other techniques during the week and the teacher will be there to answer all your questions at any time.
Teacher
Mojca Bajt is an experienced and passionate yoga teacher. She has a unique ability to naturally inspire a deeper understanding of the flow of breath, movement, and mindful connections in yoga. In her classes, she teaches her students to be in the present moment, to explore themselves, and to empower themselves.
She challenges you to increase your physical flexibility and strength, in order to transform them into inner strength, balance, harmony, and joy. Her yoga and meditation classes are suitable for everyone, from beginner to experienced yogi.
Cuisine
You will be enjoying three meals per day. Each meal consists of a healthy, seasonal, organic vegetarian/vegan/raw food along with freshly prepared healthy, homemade raw snack delights, detox juices and evening herbal tea.
The experienced chef who’s love and knowledge of healthy foods is exceptional (and he always loves to share it with the participants!), will concentrate on nutritional, healthy value of the locally grown fresh mediterranean food and will be spoiling you with delicious, nutritious meals, with a Mediterranean touch.
Additionally, since the retreat location is on the Mediterranean coast with its fresh catch-of-the-day, fish and seafood can be occasionally served upon your request or during the culinary tour.
Fruit and vegetables served during your stay will be a locally-grown, seasonal, organic foods from a small local ecological farms and gardens, combined with Mediterranean freshly picked herbs. Meanwhile the served bread will be homemade using ecological flour, and the cheese will be supplied by a local goat farmers. The cold pressed extra virgin ecological olive oil from Korcula is also used to supplement the meal.
Accommodation
Our accommodation for this seaside yoga holiday is located in old stone house on the outskirts of medieval Korcula town, at the sea front, overlooking the blue mediterranean sea.
Each room has a bathroom. There is also a large living room and a terrace with a view, for all the participants to enjoy. There are few single rooms with double bed, a double rooms with queen bed, and a couple of rooms with a twin beds.
The retreat which we will run in September will be taking place in a new and upgraded luxury accommodation with a swimming pool, hot tub, infrared sauna and a large garden.
