About The Retreat

This escape into nature is the perfect place to define what’s missing from your life, explore your new goals and meet new, lasting friends traveling along the same inner journey as you.

Cabilla Cornwall was selected for this Marpole Retreat because it is the perfect place to experience the restorative power of nature.

Cabilla’s ancient and undisturbed nature along with Marpole’s carefully curated wellness workshops will leave you feeling happier than when you arrived with a renewed sense of clarity, balance and motivation. This retreat will make you feel like you again.

The rustic Koyt Cabin accommodation, inspired by Cornish ‘Quoits’, which were a type of portal or spiritual chamber that date back to the Neolithic period.

Your opening circle will be lead by a certified Health Coach, trained in encouraging you to be your true self and express what you want to get out of the weekend, and life.

The Cabilla Valley is home to an extremely rare and Ancient Temperate Rainforest which hosts a diverse range of plant, fungi and animal species. These habitats are defined by the mycelial network which connects every single organism in the forest together.

The Eden Project recently carbon dated the age of the rainforest using paleo-botanical techniques which proved that it has had at least 3,664 years of continuous, uninterrupted growth.

Testimonials

What a wonderful experience! The setting was beautiful, the food was amazing, and the activities well-planned and executed. There was just enough free time to be able to explore and relax, and the workshops were interactive and interesting. I would definitely recommend Marpole Retreats, and hope to be able to attend another one of their retreats soon!

I recently went to the Refresh and Revitalize Retreat April 2023… what an amazing experience! Not only was it held at a BEAUTIFUL location, but the hosts were the highlight! Marie the coordinator and health coach is literally the sweetest human you will ever meet and my one on one coaching session with her was life changing. I will definitely continue to use her post retreat 1:1 health coaching. The food at the resort was great and also the yoga and meditation coaches were amazing (best yoga class I’ve ever been to, great for all experience levels and for injured people like me, I always had something I could do) I will most definitely be returning! I can’t thank all of them enough for such a relaxing and meaningful experience!

If you want a wellness retreat that’s organised thoroughly, with some personal touches thrown in, choose Marpole. I had an amazing time at Loon Lake. The venue was beautiful, the food was brilliant, and the sessions well done. I came away with some new personal goals for myself, and felt relaxed and calm going back in to my hectic work schedule! I will definitely be doing another one in the future, I can’t recommend them highly enough.
