Wellstone Cottages | Pembrokeshire, Wales (Sleeps 24+)
Beautiful grounds, wild swimming and woodland walks. Situated in picturesque Pembrokeshire, Nantyweirglodd Isaf to give Wellstone Cottages its Welsh name translates as ‘Lower Hay Meadow by the Stream’. Here you will find 23 acres of pasture, mature trees, woodland and riverside & lakeside walks to explore.
Wellstone Cottages is the ideal venue for retreats and wellbeing events. We have four contemporary cottages that can sleep 24 (plus yurts & camping), a large traditional 3-pole marquee, hot tubs, cotton hammocks and secluded peace and tranquillity.
There are numerous activities available on the doorstep to include Surfing, Fishing, Kayaking and Coasteering on the Pembrokeshire Coastline, Walking and Cycling in the Preseli Hills and Dolphin Watching in Cardigan Bay.
The Orb stream runs along the edge of the estate into the upper reaches of the River Taf (it’s been said that there’s Welsh gold in them there hills).
Here you will find ancient woodland carpeted with bluebells in the Spring and a disused railway line that now serves as a lovely walkway looking down to the river. Alternatively, you can choose to walk along the river bank spotting brown trout, dragonflies and kingfishers as you go.
There is a wonderful lake and deep pools in the river for wild swimming or if you prefer you’re welcome to sit with a rod and line and watch the day float by.
Within the immediate grounds of the cottages we have cotton hammocks to relax in, benches to enjoy an evening drink and a makeshift activity area with rope swing, campus climbing board and gymnastic rings.
Golden Grove Retreat, | Wales (Sleeps 24)
The main house is a fantastic barn conversion with four large bedrooms, four bathrooms, a spacious lawn and patio, a fire pit and a BBQ area and all the spa facilities you could want.
There are two Safari Lodges with three bedrooms each for additional accommodation and to get down and close to nature.
Golden Grove Retreat is a haven of tranquility and relaxation, nestled on 10 acres of wild land adjacent to an organic farm.
We are located close to beautiful beaches, castles, and walks. Whilst hosting your retreat here, guests can enjoy the picturesque views, spacious rooms with underfloor heating and we have plenty of spaces for relaxation and entertainment.
Just a stone’s throw away from the deer park, guests can often see deer moving through the fields.
Llethrau Forest and Nature Retreats | Wales (sleeps 26)
We are a very unique venue, situated in a small village up in the hills. The site is at the end of the road so there is no through traffic, and it’s within a valley with a river running through it so energetically it’s very vibrant and sheltered, and a good place to build.
We have 3 cottages, 3 bespoke shepherds huts and 2 yurts. There is a central wifi cafe but otherwise, the site is wifi-free which helps tremendously with re-connecting to nature and feeling inside, as well as disconnecting with the more manic and frantic energies of modern life.
Our main yoga space is our village hall. It has the capacity to fit 12-16 people doing yoga depending on how cosy you want to be.
We have a beautiful and spacious semi-commercial kitchen in our centralised Village hall. There is an internet cafe and a small shop.
Garth Barns, Llanidloes | Wales (Sleeps 48)
Set amongst the rolling hills of rural Wales, Garth Barns is the perfect spot to rest and reconnect with nature.
The two large barn conversions that house the Yoga Shala and all of the accommodation are heated from renewable biomass and the drinking water is from the farm’s own pure spring water source.
The venue is set within 200 acres of farmland offering beautiful walks in the hills and valleys right on the doorstep. And with a cold water pond for wild swimming, a gym and a Finnish sauna there is plenty to do when you are not on the yoga mat. Garth Barns are set in glorious countryside near Llanidloes in mid Wales.
Garth Country House may be let as a single property to sleep up to 16, or, together with Garth Barns (Hafod and Ty Nant Barns) to sleep up to 48 guests in a total of 18 bedrooms, including 16 en-suite rooms.
There are two barns, Hafod and Ty Nant. Together they comfortably sleep up to 32 guests in 12 bedrooms, 10 of which are en suite.
The luxury self catering accommodation is normally booked as one unit. Hafod has big living and dining spaces where guests from both barns can dine and socialise together.
TY Capel Chapel Retreat Rental | Tywyn, Wales (sleeps 12 – 14)
This magnificent mainly ‘open plan’ property offer very spacious accommodation, utilising the former chapel at the front and the vestry to the rear part, but unlike a number of other conversions, it retains many original features, such as the galley and feature ceilings.
The Chapel has 6 bedrooms all available for single or double use. Four king sized bedrooms all with ensuite facilities, one of these rooms has a sofa bed, so could sleep 3 – 4 sharing. There is also one twin bedded room and I double room, these two rooms share the same bathroom.
Tywyn is right in the middle of Wales situated on the coast between the mountains and the sea. Famous for its stunning sunsets and natural beauty spots. Tywyn has a railway station with links for all over the UK, the venue is a 5 min walk from the station.
