Paraiso Escondido is a magical boutique property terraced into the Portuguese coastal hills. The yoga studio sits on top of the resort with expansive views.

The room offerings are exquisite and the food is farm to table organic. The communal space inspires good times where we will share memories.

Your Teachers

Heather Wiest is beyond blessed to LOVE, SERVE and INSPIRE her family and the community as a Yoga Teacher, Retreat Leader, Holy Fire III Karuna Reiki® Master, Licensed Clinical Social Worker, and contributing author.

Her holistic yoga sessions are engaging and rejuvenating, leaving one feeling balanced and inspired. Heather’s busy life as a wife, mother, and guide, encourages her to find the pause — embracing every moment of connection, presence, and peace.

A passionate, yet simple girl at heart, you can find Heather breathing in another radiant Arizona sunrise or sunset. Heather took her first yoga class in 2001 and instantly fell in love!

She quickly discovered the healing aspects of a consistent yoga practice to one’s physical, emotional and spiritual well-being. (Heather holds the following certifications: LCSW, E-RYT®500, YACEP®)

Vangie Rodriguez is a Phoenix based artist, primarily self-taught with a family linage of artists.

Vangie’s inspiration is wide spread, with a love of Hispanic tradition, to nature and most recently pop culture art, incorporating a bright and bold color palette for custom commissions. Vangie teaches Art in Phoenix and delivers her talent on location for at-home paint parties, chartable and team building events.

Paraiso Escondido is the perfect location to slow down, relax and reconnect with the beautiful things that life has to offer. Imagine a beautiful, quiet place with vast, open landscapes, rolling hills, virgin coastline, unspoiled beaches and bright starry skies.

Paraiso Escondido is located in the local village of Sao Teotonio, on the SW Coast of Alentejo, Portugal. The mixture of stunning countryside and nearby beaches is a magical healing combination.

This intimate property is surrounded by nature with breathtaking views. With 20 acres of private land, expansive views and an organic garden there is a real connection to nature.

The property features 10 bedrooms, living room / dining room gathering place, an open-style kitchen studio for cooking classes, a beautiful Yoga Studio with stunning views, pool and spa where a variety of treatments are available including Ayurvedic massage.
